The rowing section at Tudor Sailing Club was established in 2016 with the arrival of its first Bursledon gig, Rosie. What began as a small group of enthusiasts has grown into a thriving section, now with a fleet of three club-owned and seven privately owned Bursledon gigs, plus a Pembrokeshire Longboat, offering plenty of opportunities to get out on the water.
Our rowers regularly compete in local fixed-seat rowing events and, in 2022, the club proudly launched its own competition – The Tudor Challenge. Now a popular event in the rowing calendar, it attracts crews from across the region for a day of exciting racing and great club atmosphere.
