Race Categories

This race is for fixed seat rowing boats only. Trophies will be awarded to the following categories:

A) Tudor Challenge Cup – Overall Fastest on handicap

B) The Coastal Rowing Academy Shield – Overall Fastest Women’s team on handicap

C) The Tudor Relic – Fastest Veterans (55 or over) team on handicap

D) The Friendship Trophy – Fastest Women’s Veterans (55 or over) on handicap

E) The Navigator Trophy – Fastest Bursledon Gig

F) The Ferry Boat Trophy – Fastest Solent Galley

G) The Ship Inn Trophy – Fastest Pilot Gig

H) The Coffee Cup Trophy – Fastest Felixstowe Clayton Skiff

I) The Freedom Trophy – Fastest Mixed Crew. At least 50% of the rowers must be women. In boats with uneven crews, the greater number must be women

J) The Salt Shack Trophy – Fastest Celtic Gig

K) The Sportsmanship Trophy – Awarded for demonstrating the most sportsmanship on the day. The winner of this trophy will be selected by the Race Committee.

L) The Novice Trophy – Awarded to the fastest crew, subject to all rowers having rowed for less than 12 months.
